Hay....and a Cake.

Grady cut some hay last week.

 

 

 

 

And I made a cake for a bridal shower.

 

Grady raked the hay and then decided to make some square bales.  We all helped bring them in on Friday...it was a beautiful, warm day.  Sophie had wanted to go to the beach....but then once she got up on the wagon all was well again!  For little girls bringing in the hay is FUN....for the rest of us...it's WORK.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Luckily, we had some friends to help us and we got it all into the barn before the rain came.
