Deer

We see deer nearly every day.  They are feeding in the fields or jumping across the road.

They scare me in the evenings when I'm driving. 

I had an episode a couple of weeks ago.  I saw the deer jumping right in front of the van.  I closed my eyes, held my breath and waited for the 'crash'.  But then there was nothing.  I don't know what happened.  We drove in silence for awhile and then Lydia asked if we could go back and see that deer again.  So I asked her where it went.  She said it jumped, it jumped REALLY high.

I think it jumped right over my van.
